I have asymmetrical (lopsided) breasts. I'm 23 and it has really made me self-conscious since I went through puberty. One breast is a DDD and the other is a B or C cup. For normal days, I wear a bra with padding in one side but you can still notice the difference. It makes me never want to go out in public and I am horribly ashamed at my body. My problem is this: I just got engaged and am getting married in six months. I would love to look my best on my wedding day and finally feel comfortable in my own skin, but I can't find any good options. Most modern wedding dresses are strapless, and I cannot go without a bra. Even the halter-tops would be hard to pull off, because in addition to being lopsided, I also need a lot of support. I've done my research and there is no way to fix it without plastic surgery. We're on a tight enough budget as it is with the wedding, and I don't want complications to prevent me from getting married. I know it probably seems shallow to be so focused on this of all things, but you can't really know what it's like to be tormented unless you've experienced it yourself. What I'm hoping is that there is someone else out there who has had a similar problem and can recommend some solutions. I'd like to either find a place with appropriate dresses or hear your views on plastic surgery so close to a wedding. Thank you so much! It's not only that I want to look good in a dress, it's more about feeling comfortable being the center of attention for once. I have been teased, pointed at, and had comments made to me for ten years now. It's always been in the back of my mind to have surgery, I just thought my wedding would be a good initiator.
