I know that there are very strict rules about what you can wear in the temple- but how much flesh would be considered offensive for a non-LDS bride to show when marrying her LDS fiancee in an ordinary civil wedding, possibly to be held in the hall at a stake center? I have found a dress that I love and which fits perfectly; I was pretty proud of myself for finding one with long opaque sleeves and which doesn't show any cleavage. It does, however, show off my collarbone, and about an inch of shoulder top and shoulderblades- my best features, and I don't want to cover them up. I don't think it looks risque or raunchy at all, but I am afraid that I might offend some fuddy-duddy relative (particularly one who isn't happy about my non-LDS status).
